It
hung on his wall for years. . .
A copy of the famous World
War II photograph of Paul Ison "Crossing the Draw," in the area now called Death
Valley in Okinawa, hung on the artist's bedroom wall for years. As it currently inspires
and motivates young Marines in the School of Infantry in Camp Pendleton, California, so
has it served as an inspiration to Jason Arthaud, both as an artist and a Marine.
This artwork, Paul Ison,
is a collage including the famous photograph, along with the artist's pen and ink drawing
of the head and graphite drawing of Ison as a young Marine. The collage has been enlarged
and lithographed on high quality art paper. Each print has been titled and signed by the
artist and also autographed by the subject of the artwork himself, Mr. Paul Ison.
This artwork is offered in a very Limited Edition of 60 prints. |
